About Me
Welcome to my world of nature inspired design. I am passionate about the beauty I find in nature and living among the vineyards here in Switzerland provides me with endless inspiration. As an artist, I have a special eye for spotting detail, intricate patterns or texture created naturally by Mother Nature. Seeing the world with an abstract perspective allows me to create designs that translate my natural surroundings artistically. I love working in ink, either with pen or dry brush.
Background
I was born and raised in the Washington D.C. area. I earned my degree in Fine Arts at the University of Maryland and thereafter ran a small custom stationery business while also selling my paintings in local cafes. Having lived the past 20 years in lovely Switzerland, I have moved into surface design which allows me to explore the way art can be weaved into daily life. It offers endless possibilities to bring art into our spaces, not only for visual joy but also as a necessity to our overall well-being.
My Goal
It’s all about intentional living, being conscious about what you choose to bring into your life and into your home. It’s choosing elements that speak to your personal style and even your passions. My desire is to facilitate that ethos. What story do you want to tell? What mood do you want to evoke? We should all be able to revel in our surroundings.
